However, fate hasn't given me the opportunity to visit Astoria plaza. So, when a friend of mine invited me over to meet some of the hotel's executives, I was only too happy to accommodate the invitation." confides Mr. Boy Abunda, television's most brilliant and multi-awarded host to this writer.
"When I arrived at Astoria Plaza, I was just blown away by the beauty of this hotel. The lobby was very elegant: shiny granite floor and walls... the double volume ceiling... the "designer" furniture... I was just simply impressed. The interior was just very tasteful... cool, uncluttered... very hip! Nothing pretentious. Nothing too imposing. I just loved it!" discloses Mr. Abunda.
"Apparently, that wasn't 'it' yet because when I saw the rooms, it was like 'Why did I come to know Astoria Plaza only now?' I mean, the rooms just have so much space! I've seen almost all the different kinds of hotel rooms all over the country and the rooms in Astoria Plaza are really spacious. You're asking me if the rooms are beautiful too? But of course they are! I found out that the interior design was done by no less than Ivy and Cynthia Almaro, two of the most sought-after designers of our time and who happens to be friends of mine as well, I guess I'm really in the right company!" says Mr. Abunda.
He further adds, "When the time came for me to attend the Club Astoria presentation, things became even better for me. This was actually the best part of my visit to Astoria Plaza. The presentation was so systematic and extensive. It was actually a "laptop" presentation. Very sleek, very high-tech. It was then that I came to learn about the Club Astoria's fantastic deal for vacation accommodations! Small wonder that Club Astoria is the leading vacation ownership company in the country today."
